He started his career in 1976 working as water clerk in a shipping agency (Marittima del Nord). He progressed within the company until he became a manager, and in 1987 he started with his own shipping agency.
In 1993 he joined four friends at CSA. He has extensive experience in tankers, dry, ro-ro and navy port operations.
